We welcome riders at all levels. From Olympic level riders to recreational backyard horsemen, all reap the benefits of Conscious Connections - whether it be further refining the most minute physical gestures in the upper levels of competition riding or learning the basics of "feel" to improve ones relationship with their backyard horse, we have a deep well of experience & mentors to draw from. Have a question about optimizing your performance? CJ's 30+ years experience as a balance & biomechanics specialist, combined with her multidisciplinary training, including learning from and assisting USDF Faculty in the L Judge Program, afford her the competency to spot minor adjustments that can be made for major results in improved harmony & performance.
Experienced Casual/Pleasure Riders
At Conscious Connections Horsemanship, CJ helps pleasure riders do exactly that - continue to take pleasure in riding and relating to their horses. CJ will listen to your goals and/or concerns and, as fits, help you develop a plan for achieving better harmony and enjoyment with your equine partners.
Beginner-Advanced Riders
We welcome riders at all levels. Our service is to create a space for aspiring or already experienced equestrians of all types and disciplines to develop and/or continute to develop authentic confidence through competency, experiential learning, enjoyable exploration and self-discovery.
Youth Riders
Whether your goals as a youth rider are fun times with friends and horses, developing or maintaining confidence, pursuits of competent, compassionate horsemanship, and/or a career in the equine industry, we have a variety of programs to suit youth goals. With 4-H groups and accredited high school gym class replacement programs, including competitions, to other youth groups and competitions, there are plenty of activities to choose from that can provide a bonding and enjoyable time with horses.
